Resident doctors represented by the British Medical Association have proposed industrial action starting at 07:00 Friday 25th July to 07:00 Wednesday 30th July, due to a national pay dispute with the Government.

Due to works being carried out by Wessex Water, from Monday 21st July to Friday 1st August, there will be traffic delays on Odstock Road and Rowbarrow for two weeks.

Public and patients are invited to nominate staff members for the Patient Experience Award, part of the Trust's Staff Awards 2025. Nominations close on Friday 4th July. In recognition of the impact hospital staff have upon many lives, this Award is for the team or individual that has made a significant impact upon improving the patient experience.

The Met Office has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for our region, beginning tomorrow Wednesday 18th June from 12:00 until Sunday 22nd June, 18:00, as there is a 60% risk of a heatwave. Temperatures across the UK will continue to climb with the weather becoming increasingly hot and sunny. If you have vulnerable family, friends or neighbours, it's important to check in on them and ensure they are aware of the forecasts and are following the necessary advice. Remember to stay hydrated, dress appropriately and avoid strenuous activity.
